With your personalised Portland Video CINEBANK card you will have 24 hour access to our automated video dispensing service.

Key in your Access Code and you will have instant access to more that 5000 Videos / DVDs / Playstation / XBox Games shown either by category, Director, Actors etc.


SALIENT POINTS IN CONTRACT

The Hirer will give the client a numbered membership card which contains all the personal details of the Client and which will permit him/her to access the rental service. Together with the membership card, the Client will also be given two personal and confidential numbers, one of which will be able to be used to access all items and the other for use by minors which will only be able to be used for specific item categories. This card will need to be renewed annually at a cost of £5 per card, which cost will not be charged in the case of substantial usage of the machine. (In excess of £50 per month).

In order to be able to access the CINEBANK, the client will need to re-charge/credit his account by using the note reader which is contained within the system. The minimum amount allowed will be £5. Please note that in order to use the service, the member's account must be in credited although the actual debit of the account will not occur until the items are returned. Members are free to recharge/credit their membership account at their discretion by using notes equivalent to £5 and £10, both in sterling and Gibraltar currency and this credit will be automatically added on to the existing card credit. Please note that if the account does not have sufficient credit to complete the transaction cost, the client will be advised of this in the CINEBANK monitor. The account will have to be recharged/credited in order to complete the transaction. This will also apply when returning the items as the machine will not allow any item to be returned unless there is enough credit to complete the transaction. The Client can credit his/her account in the Customer Service Centre wherein any amount will be accepted. The Client can even credit his/her account with his/her Credit Card although in this case there a minimum amount accepted of £10.

All items are the property of the Hirer at all times and are protected by copyright. The items may only be used for private viewing and may not be copied or duplicated, re-loaned or broadcast. Risk of loses, theft or damages to any item, no matter how caused, is the sole responsibility of the client who will be liable for the market cost of the item, plus the amount due on rental.

The items can only be rented for a period of 14 days. Once this period has elapsed, the Hirer will deem that the item has been lost, damaged etc. in which case the Hirer will take whatever legal measures are required to recover the item. We reserve the right to appoint and officially engage the services of our debt collection agency to recover any monies owed or the items due for which purpose the client accepts that they enter the premises by force if necessary, where the item/s is or are suspected to be for effecting its or their recovery. The Client accepts liability for the payment of all monies owed as per the rental irrespective of the amount of these costs plus the market cost of the item.

The client accepts the fact that CINEBANK contains all categories of films including adult films. To this end each client is given a confidential membership number and another number for the use by minors. The client is the sole person responsible for any use of the confidential number in any way that contravenes the law as it refers to minors.

In the case of loss, theft etc of the card, the client has to report the matter to the Hirer as soon as possible since any illegal use of the card and the confidential number to access the machine will be the sole responsibility of the client together with costs/charges etc for the renting of any items or for matters covered above in Section 4. For this season it is expressly prohibited to write down the Confidential Number on the card.

This contract will have an indefinite period unless (a) the client requests its termination or (b) the Hirer terminates the agreement for whatever reason.

In both cases, the client has to return any items on rental and the Hirer will return any credit which the client has in his membership account.


CHECK OUT OUR NEW PRICE STRUCTURE

UP TP 3 HOURS - Between£1 and £1.50

UP TO 6 HOURS   - Between £1 and £2

UP TO 12 HOURS  - Between £1.50 and £2.25

UP TO Midnight the following day - Between £1.50 and £2.50


However each film has a different price structure and you should check the screen as regard the price structure for each item before confirming your choice.

You can also return films you have rented from the shop to the Cinebank machine at there specific locations  for extra convenience.

Your Card is now valid at the three CINEBANKS and the CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE.

TO ENROLL YOU NEED TO BE OVER 18 AND BRING SOME FORM OF PROOF OF IDENTITY AND £5 FOR YOUR ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE. THE SYSTEM WORKS ON A CREDIT SYSTEM. IT CHARGES VIDEO’S DVD’S AND PLAYSTATION GAMES ON THEIR RETURN AND THEREFORE YOU NEED TO CREDIT THE SYSTEM WITH A MINIMUM OF £5.00 INITIALLY. THEREAFTER YOU CAN CREDIT YOUR CARD VIA THE NOTE READERS PROVIDED ON THE MACHINES OF ALTERNATIVELY  IN THE  PORTLAND HOUSE  OR SOUTH DISTRICT OFFICE, OR UPPER TOWN OFFICE AT CASTLE ROAD. CREDIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE VIDEO SHOP ASSISTANTSHOWS YOU HOW TO OPERATE THE MACHINES.
